Green Infrastructure Tours

We host tours of green infrastructure projects for stormwater management for anyone interested in green infrastructure. In the past, we have visited:

  • Raingardens by NYC Department of Environmental Protection
  • Green roofs on private buildings
  • Community gardens and urban farms
  • Permeable pavement
  • Salt marsh restoration

We have also hosted tours to Hoboken, NJ and Villanova and Philadelphia, PA to connect green infrastructure professionals and enthusiasts to similar minded people outside New York City.

Each site we visit has an interpreter - someone who knows the details of the project - so that we hear directly from those who have on-the-ground knowledge.

Tours typically take place in October. Please check our website in late summer!
